How to cook CHICKEN & PORK ADOBO

Ingredients
  

  • 800 grams Chicken cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 500 grams Pork cut about 1.5 X 1-inch
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 leaf Bay Leaves teared
  • 6 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper whole
  • 1 pc Chicken Cube optional
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 small Potatoes - optional quartered & fried

Instructions
 

  • Combine Pork meat with Vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, garlic, salt, black pepper and mix. Let pork marinate in the mixture for at least 30 mins.
    500 grams Pork, 1/2 cup Vinegar, 1/2 cup Soy Sauce, 2 leaf Bay Leaves, 6 cloves Garlic, 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • Place marinated pork into a pot with chicken cube and water and simmer in low-medium heat for 20 mins stirring occasionally.
    500 grams Pork, 1 pc Chicken Cube, 1 cup Water
  • Add in chicken pieces at the bottom of the pan and simmer for 15-17 mins stirring occasionally.
    800 grams Chicken
  • Adjust the taste before serving. Serve with fried potatoes on top -optional.
    1 tsp Salt, 4 small Potatoes - optional

Chicken & Pork Adobo Storage and Reheating Instruction:

  • Store in a sealed container in the fridge and consume within 3 days.
  • Reheat in a covered pan in moderate heat and boil with small amount of water for 3 mins before serving.
  • Microwave reheating instruction: Reheat in a microwave safe dish for 3 mins in full power.
  • Make sure food is pipping hot before serving.
