Ingredients
- 3 cans Coconut Milk
- 3 cups Glutinous Rice washed
- 1.5 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 can Coconut Milk
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Cook 3 cups glutinous rice in 3 cans coconut milk. When half of the coconut milk has been absorbed, turn heat down and stir to prevent sticking to the pan. Let the mixture thicken until liquid is completely absorbed and nearly dried out.3 cans Coconut Milk, 3 cups Glutinous Rice
- Add 1.5 cups brown sugar and 1/2 tsp salt and mix until mixture becomes very sticky.1.5 cup Brown Sugar, 1/2 tsp Salt
- Transfer to a baking dish, flatten the top and set aside.
- Dissolve 1 cup brown sugar to 1 can coconut milk and boil in a pan. Turn heat down and stir continuously until it thicken and pour over cooked glutinous rice.1 can Coconut Milk, 1 cup Brown Sugar
- Place dish in preheated oven, 180°C for 20 mins or until topping becomes brown.
- Cool down and serve.
