Lumpiang Shanghai is basically a Philippine spring roll. This dish is very easy to make and the ingredients are not difficult to find. Shanghai is commonly found at Filipino gatherings locally or even abroad.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack Lumpia Wrapper
  • 0.5 k Pork Giniling
  • 1 pc Itlog
  • 1 med sibuyas minced
  • 4 pcs butil bawang minced
  • 1/2 cup carrot minced
  • 1 tsp asin
  • 1/4 tsp paminta - durog
  • 2-3 tbsp Oyster Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Pagsama-samahin ang lahat ng sangkap maliban sa Lumpia Wrapper at haluing mabuti. Mag prito ng isang kutsarang mixture at tikman. I-adjust ang lasa kung kinakailangan.
    0.5 k Pork Giniling, 1 pc Itlog, 1 med sibuyas, 4 pcs butil bawang, 1/2 cup carrot, 1 tsp asin, 1/4 tsp paminta - durog, 2-3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • Ibalot ang mixture sa Lupia Wrapper, idikit ang dulo ng lumpia wrapper sa pamamagitan ng tubig o sa puti ng itlog.
    1 pack Lumpia Wrapper
  • Iprito sa kawaling may mantika sa katamtamang apoy at patiktikin.
  • I-serve na may sawsawang Sweet Chili Sauce o Ketchup.

Storage and Reheating Instructions for Lumpiang Shanghai:

  • Store in a sealed container in the fridge and consume within 3 days.
  • Shallow fry in a pan on low to moderate heat for 3 mins before serving.
  • Microwave reheating instruction: It is not advisable to reheat Lumpiang Shanghai in a microwave.
  • Make sure the food is piping hot before serving.
