CHICKEN BARBECUE

Chicken Barbecue in the Philippines is considered as unique in south east asia. It is not spicy as such compared to other south east countries. This is due to the influence of the other country that have led the Philippines in the past.

There are so many ways of preparing this iconic street food-cum-party food, barbecue. Here’s my version of Chicken Barbecue Recipe.

Chicken Barbecue is usually a snack in the Philippines and considered as street food but you can also have it with rice as a meal with spicy vinegar as a dipping sauce.

How to cook CHICKEN BARBECUE:

Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Chicken Fillet - thin sliced
  • 3 butil Bawang - pino
  • ½ cup Toyo
  • 4 tbsp Banana Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt & Pepper to taste
  • ½ pc Lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Pagsama-samahin ang mga sangkap, haluin at i-marinate ang manok ng at least 30 mins bago ihawin.
    ½ kg Chicken Fillet, 3 butil Bawang, ½ cup Toyo, 4 tbsp Banana Ketchup, 2 tbsp Brown Sugar, 1 pinch Salt & Pepper to taste, ½ pc Lemon
  • Tuhugin ang manok sa bamboo stick.
  • Ihawin o i-grill 2 mins each side.
  • Ihain ng may kasamang sawsawang suka at pinitpit na bawang.
