Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch divided
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 kg Beef Sirloin or Flank Steak cut into thin 1-inch pieces
- 1 small Onion slice thinly
- 1 tbsp Garlic minced
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 cups Broccoli Florets blanched
- 1 dash Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Whisk 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 3 tablespoons water and sesame oil. Add in beef and mix until well combined.3 tablespoons Cornstarch, 2 tablespoons Water, 1 tsp Sesame Oil, 1/2 kg Beef Sirloin or Flank Steak
- Sautè onions and garlic, add beef and mic together for 1 min.1 small Onion, 1 tbsp Garlic
- Add soy sauce and simmer for 15 min in low heat.1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- Add bricolli and a dash of ground black pepper to taste.2 cups Broccoli Florets, 1 dash Ground Black Pepper
- Dissolve the remaining tbsp cornstarch in 2 tbsp water and add in the pan and mix.
- Mix and turn heat off when sauce thickened and transfer to a serving plate
Beef Broccoli Storing and Heating Instructions:
- Store Beef Broccoli in a sealed container in the fridge and consume within 2 days.
- Reheat in a covered pan in moderate heat and boil with small amout of water for 3 mins before serving.
- Microwave reheating instruction: Reheat in a microwave safe dish for 3 mins in full power.
- Make sure food is pipping hot before serving.
