GINATAANG BILO-BILO

Ginataang bilo-bilo is a traditional Filipino dessert that can also served as snack. It is made with glutinous rice balls,  jackfruit cubes in coconut cream with tapioca pearls. Cubed saba/plantain banana can also be added and so as sweet potatoes and so as taro and purple yam. Some even add colored  tapioca pearls to make it more enticing to the guests. You can always use all of the said ingredients or you can mix and match. It’s to each their own kind of thing with recipe, just be creative to make your very own recipe or make it just as simple as just like this recipe.

How to cook GINATAANG BILO-BILO:

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Galapong o pinaghalong giniling na malagkit at tubig - gawing bilog-bilog na hugis
  • 2 cups Gata
  • 3 cups Tubig
  • 1 cup Sago
  • ½ cup Langka - hiwain pakudrado
  • ¾ cup Asukal na puti
  • ½ cup Gabi o/at Ube - hiwain pakudrado at ilaga sa kaunting asukal - optional

Instructions
 

  • Pakuluin ang tubig sa lutuan sa katamtamang apoy.
    3 cups Tubig
  • Isama ang  gata at tunawin ang asukal. Haluin hanggang sa matunaw ang asukal.
    2 cups Gata, ¾ cup Asukal na puti
  • Ihulog ang langka at lagyan ng takip. Pakuluan ng 2 mins sa mahinang apoy.
    ½ cup Langka
  • Isama ang bilo-bilo, gabi o/at ube. Pakuluan ng 2 mins at isama ang sago.
    1 cup Galapong o pinaghalong giniling na malagkit at tubig
  • Pakuluan ng 2 mins, tikman at i-adjust ang tamis ayon sa iyong panlasa.
  • Haluin at hanguin.
